We are a small, specialty finance company with an opening for an ambitious full-time professional with a background in IT and a desire to grow into a Business Analyst position. This is a fast growing company and the right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a management role. Major responsibilities include maintenance of our computer & VOIP phone infrastructure, assisting with initial marketing, product and competitive analysis and research, reporting and daily operational support. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, a responsible problem solver, have good people skills and be experienced with computer systems. Candidate should understand that other tasks may be added as required. No management experience required.
Requirements:
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
College degree required
Able to work efficiently, independently and with minimal supervision.
Computer Maintenance: Ability to maintain all aspects of a multiple-location office computer infrastructure (PCs, PDAs, XP OS, MS Office, etc.)
Ability to conduct relevant research with little guidance. Must be able to report findings in a credible manner.
Ability to generate, analyze and make recommendations based on large quantities of data.
Computer Programs: Excellent Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint & Internet research skills
Ideal Candidate: 1-2 years analyst experience in financial industry
1+ years IT responsibility in a small to medium sized company
Experience with SQL database reporting
